How to remove a Service Book from a BlackBerry (Live-Tech Exchange 2010) Synopsis This guide will show you how to remove certain service books from your BlackBerry device from your device itself and from the Control panel. Applicable to All Live-Tech 2010 hosted Exchange accounts. Prerequisite •a Live-Tech 2010 hosted Exchange account •a BlackBerry device How to On the unit itself: 1. On the start screen of the unit, select the Options icon. 2. Press Advanced Options. 3. Select Service Book. 4. Select the Service Book you wish to delete. 5. Press the Menu key. 6. Select Delete for the Desktop (SYNC) service book, Desktop (CMIME), Desktop [CICAL] and finally the Desktop [ALP]. 7. Confirm that you wish to delete the Service Book by pressing Delete. In the Control Panel: 1. Log into the 2010 Control Panel. 2. Select the user for whom you wish to resend Service Books. 3. Click on Resend Service Book, located in the BlackBerry section. 4. Click on Yes. Note: The Blackberry unit should start repopulating its service book shortly after that. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
