How to Display Shared Contacts in the Outlook Address book

Note: Contacts must be shared using Public Folders.

Applies to

  • Microsoft Outlook 2007 & 2010
  • Live-Tech hosted Exchange account

How To

  • Open Outlook and press CRTL + 6 or open the Folder List View
  • Locate and open the Shared Contacts under Public Folders
  • Right Click the Contacts Folder and choose Properties¬† (See Image Below)
  • In the Properties Window choose the Outlook Address Book TAB (See Image Below)
  • Select and Check off to "Show this fodler as an e-mail Address Book" (See Image Below)
  • Click Apply and OK
  • Now you have the ability to view the Shared Contacts using your Outlook Address Book Drop Down.
