Getting started with Live-Tech Stop Spam - Inbound Spam Filter. 

 

The Incoming Filtering service on the Stop Spam Hosted Cloud can be started by purchasing our product, or by beginning a free trial. If you haven’t already, then place your order from service here. 

 

Once your account is setup you are ready to start.   

Login to Dashboard 

To log in to our Control Panel interface you need to visit the following link https://login.antispamcloud.com/  

After you are successfully logged in, you will notice the Control Panel Dashboard and several tables with buttons for all available features. 

1.) Add Domain 

To add a domain, click on the Add Domain button in the welcome user dashboard. You can optionally upload a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file to add multiple domains at once. 

 

Then type the domain you would like to add to your filtering system, for example: "example.com" and click *Continue*. 

If no destination mail server (route) could be determined for the final mail delivery, you are automatically asked to enter the route manually.  

 

If you want to add more than 1 route, in case the first one is not reachable, you can do this later by going to *Domain Dashboard* > *Incoming* > *Edit Routes*.

 

Warning: Always add the domain to the Stop Spam interface before changing the MX records to the new MX records to avoid loss in mail.  
 

The domain will appear in the Overview page, after being successfully added. 

2. Configure your MX records 

At this point you need to set your MX records in your domain DNS Settings, to point to the Stop Spam’s Hosted Cloud routes. Please contact your domain service provider for detailed instructions on updating your DNS settings.

Optionally, after completing this step, you can let the Live-Tech's team know you have switched the MX-records, so we can double-check everything is set correctly. 

You do not need to setup each email address within this service it will cover the entire organization for you automatically once setup.  

Now that you can enjoy being spam free, but once in awhile you may want to login to your portal to manage your account, add safe senders, or blacklist persistent emails. As well just simply login and see all the work that the system is doing to keep you safe. 

2B.) If you face issue:  
 
MX verification tool 

The MX verification tool is used to check if domains present on the server have the correct MX records. 

Click on the Dashboard → MX verification tool under the Domains menu section. Enter your valid MX hostname(s) and click start verification. 

The output will list all the domains present on the system with different MX records. 

There are 2 checkbox options available: 

  • Check this box to send an email notification to a customer in case of wrong MX settings 

  • Also verify MX records of domain aliases 

The above is by default unchecked. 

 

This MX record must be the one suggested to you to use by your original email provider. Or you may always migrate to Office 365 for no extra charge with free setup from Live-Tech.
